Was the tree planted by Samar or in memory of her? Or is it one that she loved?
It was planted by us, her family, in memory of Samar in her school.
Planting a tree is a beautiful way to remember your daughter.
My husband and son planted a dawn redwood tree 5 years ago and my husband has now created an entire garden around that tree - in memory of my son.
