Selfish

I want to tell you

something,

Please open your ears

I think you’re selfish

hiding behind

your fears

You don’t want

to attend weddings

in fear of shedding tears

That’s how,

you turn down

your friends and peers

They want you

beside them but

“I can’t “ is what everyone hears

I consider

your action selfish,

that’s how it appears.

Do you plan

to stay like this

in future years?
