Let go of your daughter, please let
go
Free yourself from sadness and woe
Don’t hold on to her; you’ll always
feel low
And misery scars will on your face
show.
Grief shrouds you, from head to
toe,
Occupies your eyes, instead of
their glow,
Bid sorrow goodbye, and happiness
hello;
That’s what she wants, I’m sure you
know
Move on and begin a page as white
as snow
Leave grief behind, and let happy
moments flow
Let go of your daughter, please let
go.
