Foreshadowing the evil emerging
in Jack and Roger:
- Roger throwing a rock at a
littlun.
→ Roger will be evil; kills Piggy with
rock.
- Jack recommending using a
littlun for the reenactment of hunt (115).

- It rained when they came.

- When Ralph blew the conch at
Castle Rock in chapter 11, it reminded him of the first time.
