Tell me why

my daughter had to go?

So young!

I really want to know.

Is it to test

how much I can endure?

If so,

It’s the worst test for sure.

Is it a lesson

for me to learn?

Then, why should it

be taught with enormous pain?

Let me know,

it might help ease my days

And bring to their darkness

some sun rays.

Will I ever hold her

in my arms again?

Please say, “ yes,”

At least to keep me sane.
